Formerly, Black Lion Leisure Centre, Medway Park has undergone a multi-million pound renovation and is now an international standard multi-sport facility.

This £11million development has brought major improvements for customers and was used a as a pre-games training camp for the 2012 London Games.

Medway Park opening times

  • Monday to Friday, 6.30am-10.30pm;
  • Saturday, 7.30am-8pm;
  • Sunday, 7.30am-10.30pm.

Opening times are different on bank holidays and over Christmas.

Online booking

Members may book badminton, squash and basketball sessions online up to seven days in advance; and non-members three days in advance.

Free swimming

Free swimming will be available at all five of the council’s leisure centres for under-11s and over-60s living in Medway from Friday, 1 April, during normal opening times. Club sessions etc are not included.
To take up the offer, residents will need proof that they live in Medway and will be able to do this with a free Medway City Card.
